MS, SLP provides speech and oral motor therapy to the angels once a week on Mondays for 45-minute sessions. She has a Masters degree in Speech and Language Pathology. Lcda. García holds a Level 2 Certification in Oral Placement Therapy from Talk Tools, PROMPT.

In his words: “Mi nombre es Gerardo J. Santiago Rodríguezposeo una Maestría en Ciencias de Terapia Física de la Universidad de Puerto Rico-Recinto de Ciencias Médicas con certificaciones en: Terapia y Rehabilitación Acuática y K-Taping. He tenido experiencias clínicas en el área: músculo-esqueletal, lesión a cordón espinal y Pediátrica.

Actualmente me encuentro ejerciendo la profesión en la población adulto-mayor con condiciones ortopédicas, músculo-esqueletales y neurológicas. Además, recientemente me incorporé a Lily’s Angels donde podré estar en contacto con la población Pediátrica que tanto me apasiona. Espero servir de instrumento para contribuir grandemente al desarrollo de las destrezas motoras de los niños, alcanzando el máximo nivel funcional y promoviendo así la calidad de vida que merecen.

is a certified speech and language pathologist in practice for 12 years with extensive experience with Down syndrome. Lcda. Velez is well-known on the island and considered a leader in the field and has certifications in the following: Level 3 Talk Tools oral placement therapy; PROMPT; Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS); and has received training in Childhood Apraxia with Nancy Kaufman.
